Role Purpose

We are looking for an individual with interest and practical experience in knowledge management (KM), with a focus on SharePoint to provide KM solutions for our Crop Protection Research organisation (CPR) that are aligned with operational needs and strategic priorities, and to contribute to the development and deployment of KM best practice in CPR.

Accountabilities

  • Delivers high quality knowledge management solutions aligned with company policies and
  • KM best practice
  • Works independently to deliver solutions, including requirement identification, solution definition and work prioritisation
  • Communicates about their work effectively to KM colleagues and wider teams
  • Contributes to the development, delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of KM support approaches, including training and upskilling
  • Contributes to development of KM best practice, and supports and monitors its application
  • Maintains relationships with individuals in related roles across Syngenta (e.g. R&D IT, KM, Technology & Digital Integration)

  • Collaborates with data/digital specialists and KM team members to align approaches and deliver solutions  

Qualifications

Experience Required

  • Experience and knowledge of delivering SharePoint solutions in support of Knowledge Management
  • Awareness of knowledge management approaches and best practices
  • Confidence and competence in specialist use of O365 tools (esp. SharePoint, MS Teams)
  • Beneficial to have experience with additional KM tools
  • Stays up to date with latest relevant developments
  • Experience in supporting change initiatives preferably in the context of KM
  • Experience in delivering training / learning / coaching for small and/or large groups
  • Ability to collaborate with data/digital specialists and team members to align approaches and solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that underpin team, service, and broader network of relationships in the workplace
  • Strong service delivery skills, including requirement identification, solution delivery, good time management and prioritisation, paired with a service mindset.
  • Effective communicator who is able to juggle multiple priorities
