Quality Management Systems Expert

About this opportunity:

We are looking for a Quality Management Systems Expert to manage the end-to-end life cycle of a portfolio of delivery areas of the Quality Management System. This role will analyze the processes, systems and data owned by Quality to eliminate inefficiencies, improve effectiveness and quality, and propose changes while also analyzing business needs to identify the requirements for change or improvements to processes and tools. You will lead the development of fundamental changes to processes and systems (SAP) and data owned by Quality while providing technical expertise for processes and data owned by Quality to the function and wider organization. Another element of this position is to measure performance and drive improvements in the deployment of the QMS elements.

You will be accountable for:

• Developing, maintaining and improving the processes and tools associated with those delivery areas assigned by the Manager.
• Providing and/or challenging design and development of custom software solutions or tools.
• Maintaining and improving known methods, products, procedures and systems.
• Analyzing, solving, and improving the processes associated with those delivery areas assigned by the Manager.
• Identifying user stories and requirements of business needs that may lead to the requirement for change or improvements to processes and tools (SAP, S4 HANA).
• Maintaining a network of subject matter experts within Global Quality and the wider organization.
• Ensuring training materials for use by the GQ function to deploy the QMS are provided and maintained. Train the trainers. Ensure understanding of the requirements of the delivery area are understood and the organization can become and remain compliant.
• Supporting the implementation of the QMS elements by ensuring a comprehensive gap analysis and implementation plan is developed and delivered.
• Maintaining specialist knowledge of SAP S4/HANA and awareness related to delivery areas assigned.
• Providing appropriate support to the audit process.
• Improving client experience through service excellence and increase value-add of the function.

Skillset required for the role:

• To be a Quality and technical SAP expert and able to influence key stakeholders.
• To be able to combine technical skills and knowledge to understand and solve complex challenges.
• Have the ability to facilitate a network of subject matter experts and influence positive outcomes.
• To be able to think end to end and manage cross-functional processes.
• Be able to manage multiple interfaces across functional boundaries.
• 5 years+ experience in manufacturing or R&D organization with a quality management and continuous improvement culture.
• Have expert knowledge of SAP system S4/HANA (data, structure, gSAP OOB (out of box) design) .
• Auditor, project manager and/or incident investigator experience desirable.

Critical Knowledge:

• Excellent command of English. Other languages would be a distinct advantage.
• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry / Biology / Agronomy /IT (or similar discipline)
• Expert knowledge of QM systems and SAP S4/HANA
• Knowledge of CP product range, Quality Management System procedures, ISO 9001, root cause analysis, etc.
• Certified Quality Auditor desirable
• Good knowledge in project management.
