We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Officer to support the flexible and agile manufacturing platform of Syngenta’s EAME Formulation Fill & Pack Business. You will support the design and delivery of allocated projects within Production & Supply, providing a robust PMO service to Stakeholders, including at steering and governance level. Accountabilities will include (but are not limited to);

  • Developing and maintaining collaborative project systems and processes, by implementing a structured project framework to drive goal and milestone delivery
  • Drive forward PMO activities by collating & sharing of project information/ data and to create relevant insights and recommendations
  • Support to build, organise and develop the project teams
  • Develop presentations and key messages to update/ engage key stakeholder and senior stakeholder meetings
  • Support risk and issue management, ensuring timely escalation of any potential concerns to the relevant governance bodies
  • Develop knowledge of and support Regional Technology and Asset Strategies in support of Global Formulation Fill & Pack Asset Strategy
  • Develop, facilitate and catalyse strategic workshops in line with EAME Asset Strategy
  • To provide guidance, advice and suggest tools and expertise on project management processes as required

 

Requisite skills/experience/qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Project Management/PMO roles, with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects end to end, and in different areas of business
  • A track record of working within a matrix organisation with cross-functional teams, preferably involving external stakeholders
  • Experience of setting up project methodologies and processes
  • Understands and practices forecasting and budgeting tracking techniques
  • Good planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and various digital tools
  • Experience in a relevant industry, including manufacturing, construction, engineering or production
  • Project Management qualification (PMP, Prince 2 etc.) is preferred

Additional Information

Based in Didsbury, Manchester, this is a hybrid working role (typically 2-3 days’ per week in the office).
