Role purpose

  • To drive planning & logistic transformation programme which will be multi-functional, strategic and complex in nature
  • To achieve successful business outcomes that deliver on customer expectations and support a $1bn business growth ambition.
  • Drive all the initiatives that IN P&S indefied related FTO/LTO, Cost Competativeness and efficiency 
  • Collaborate with Country P&S Team, Country Leadership Team, Regional P&S Leadership Team and Global stakeholders, own and implement the strategic transformation of the P&S function across all aspects of the Supply chain, considering process, system, data, people capabilities, organisation and governance.

Accountabilities

Run/ Monitoring Project outcome

  • Lead and own the development of the India P&S strategy across all Supply Chain aspects to enable the function to be supporting growth ambition in India and aligned to business transformation plans. 
  • Own and execute the 12-24m transformation plan, covering physical supply chain and network requirements, supply processes and governance, people capabilities, P&S organization design and system and data requirements.
  • Execute overall programme, alignment of the individual projects, resourcing, interdependencies, budgeting alignment to Country and P&S budgets.
  • Leverage technology and  expertise in planning and logistic systems
  • Oversee utilization of resources, expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Quantify the transformation initiatives into a financial business cases
  • Get buy in of business leaders with concepts and solutions to transform the organization
  • Manage the political pressures on stakeholders and the business realities they face
  • Review outcomes to identify opportunities for improvements in systems, process and ensure timely alignment with the leadership
  • Solve or connect with the right  people to mitigate any problem that impacts the strategic initiatives which are part of the growth plan
  • Ensure timely delivery of expected milestones, engage with the leadership for strategic decisions, manage stakeholders, and mitigate risks across the program.

Operational Excellence & Risk Mitigation

  • Define the  communication channels, reporting methods, identifying goals, establishing priorities across the entire program to  reduce risks and ensure timely successful implementation of the plans
  • Support executives in strategy operationalization by  designing and delivering of sustainable process.
  • Take corrective actions to reduce or manage risks in the portfolio.

Dimensions

  • Matrix management of project managers, other team members and external suppliers & customers.
  • Matrix management or senior leaders at Country, Regional and Global levels.
  • Budget – OPEX and CAPEX depending on the strategy

Qualifications

Critical Knowledge/skills/experience

  • Bachelor Degree / Masters Degree accredited with more than 10 years of experience of proven change management / project management experience for substantial change topics. Ideally in a global environment, ideally but not essential in Production or Supply.
  • Digital / Technology savvy with good financial acumen
  • Expertise in SAP and program management tools. Knowledge of planning and logistic processes and advanced tools is must
  • Experience of change in a complex, global environment where many project members and stakeholders are remote
  • Self motivated, strong team player with excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills
  • Project and program management experience
