As a Product Owner specializing in Digital solutions, you will play a vital role in shaping products of our customers that bring joy to millions of customers.
In the role of Product Owner for Digital Solution for our Flowers business your responsibilities are:
- Work with senior business stakeholders to define the Product Vision and Roadmap
- Use market analyses and data insights to identify growth and development opportunities
- Create and maintain the Product Backlog, prioritizing according to business value
- Lead the Product planning process, creating realistic Release Plans and managing stakeholder expectations for the delivery of new Features
- Providing vision and direction to development teams, removing impediments and ensuring work focuses on maximizing business value
- Provide backlog management and direction to sprint planning
- Elaborate User stories and Acceptance Criteria at high level
- Serve as a subject matter expert and analyst/consultant, to understand customer’s needs, gather & document requirements
- Help clients understand the best mix of technologies, design solutions and services and how they should be delivered to maximize effectiveness
- Work and collaborate with various offshore and 3rd party suppliers, adapting your communications approach to meet the business demands
- Work to understand the intersection between technology, customers and business to cultivate business development opportunities
- Understand and stay abreast of current and emerging digital trends, unique opportunities and challenges of the space/markets and geographies in which the clients operate, and how it affects client’s business and initiatives
The Challenge
As our Product Owner for digital solutions you define the vision, product strategy and roadmap of assigned Flowers Digital and IT products (including Salesforce and Ecommerce) and manage the digital product throughout its lifecycle. You propose a product development plan and required budget and you lead the virtual product owner team to ensure delivery of the agreed objectives. As part of your role you write and direct creation of product requirements (user stories) based on customers inputs (internal and sometimes external), you provide business cases for investments and gain internal approval. You run and direct proof of concepts, assure further development of the MVPs (Minimum Viable Product) and you will develop and deliver launch plans for the new capabilities. You lead the virtual product team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives and you promote the product to both internally and externally. In this job you are the recognized expert on the product, the process, the market, the relevant technology, and the competition.
Qualifications
Your Profile
In order to make this position a success, you have at least 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role, preferable with industry understanding. You have an understanding of Product Owner and Product management or a willingness to learn along with People management, (customer) research and stakeholder management. You have knowledge about Agile Methodologies and Digital and IT (Information Technology) domain knowledge.
