Procure to Pay IT Solution Consultant

Accountabilities

• Act as a functional subject matter expert for end-to-end PTP processes and related digital technology, provides consulting to various functions and units within Syngenta on procurement, invoice processing, and accounts payable needs and challenges.
• Lead all techno-functional aspects in visioning, architecture, design, implementation and sustaining of state-of-the-art PTP solutions in close collaboration internal and external suppliers
• Co-create target architecture and roadmap in collaboration with functions and IT teams
• Solution configuration in the system, testing, and co-define custom development design.
• Authoring and / or reviewing solution design document, functional specification, and test specifications.
• Execution of proof of concept / prototype in system to evaluate the feasibility of the generated idea / solution design.
• Ensure design decisions meet immediate requirements and are aligned with long-term strategic needs
• Work with implementation partner, consultants, and internal IT team for successful delivery of project
• Collaborate closely with relevant PTP Business & Functions stakeholders for the assessment of current application supported process and find opportunities for continuous improvement and automation in the PTP processes and help develop long term technology roadmap wherever applicable
• Network with peers and vendors to stay on top of technology innovation, benchmark Syngenta against leading practices
• Evaluate and propose new solutions, tools, technology, improvement in existing solution and processes.
• Develop business cases for new projects or enhancements and ensure successful project initiation and execution.
• Drive a holistic global approach along the end-to-end process, and partner with business unit and market organizations to ensure solutions meet local customer needs.
• Apply agile methodology and maximize speed-to-value
• Opportunity to work on new age technology like process mining, robotic process automation, low code platforms.

• Proven technology consulting experience of min. 10 years in sourcing, procurement, invoice processing, and accounts payable.
• Hands on functional and configuration experience on PTP solutions like Ariba, Vendor Invoice Management applications, and relevant SAP modules (AP, MM)
• Understanding of end-to-end PTP processes (Procurement and Invoice processing is must)
• Knowledge of the technology landscape supporting PTP, including ERP (ideally SAP S4/HANA), as well as specialized tools and innovative cloud solutions
• Implementation experience of 2 or more projects in PTP domain.
• Experience in e-invoicing tools like SAP eDoc, Edicom or similar.
• Experience or understanding of hyperautomation concepts and tools such as process mining (e.g., Celonis), low code platforms, robotic process automation
• Proficiency in other tools like sourcing tools like Baseware, Coupa, T&E tools like Concur, and vendor management systems like Fieldglass would be an advantage
• Understanding of service management platforms (e.g. Service Now) is an advantage
• SAP (Ariba, VIM, S4/HANA etc.) certifications is an advantage.
• Project management experience
• Experience working with Change management tools like Jira, Solution Manager
• Strong influencing skills, proven ability to rally cross-functional stakeholders in a complex organization behind a common approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to drive outcomes and operate hands-on

Minimum education requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in information management, information technology, or another business or scientific field in combination with relevant practical experience in information management
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
