We are currently seeking a Process Technology Manager to work in our PTAI department located at Grangemouth Manufacturing Centre.

The purpose of this role is to provide Technical, HSE and People Leadership to a group of professionals among them Chemists and Analysts, with 3-6 direct reports and 10-20 indirect reports as part of the Supply Chain Support Group that is comprised of three teams, Characterisation & Environment, Chemistry Development and Physical Science based in two laboratories.

The group’s purpose is to create a transformative layer of partnership and service that will help supply chains to thrive while providing fundamental chemistry capability to support plant improvements and siting of future new AIs to fuel site’s continuous growth. The group is underpinned by three main elements, product lifecycle support, plant improvement support and laboratory asset management.


Qualifications

  • Degree qualified and professional competency in technical discipline with extensive knowledge of Organic and Process Chemistry. Ideally, the candidate holds a master’s degree in Chemistry. PhD is a plus.
  • HSE: professional competency in HSE aspects of own discipline and awareness of others. Experience of working within HSE management systems and taking accountability for compliance for self and others.
  • Experience of people leadership and performance management as a +1 Manager.
