This section describes the overall purpose of the role, why it exists and how it adds value to the business. It is a summary list of up to six statements for key result areas where the role holder will have decision making responsibility.

  • Responsible for the Production Planning & details scheduling (PP&DS) within production assets and ensuring utilization of assets cost effectively.
  • Responsible for scheduling required packaging materials and components to produce finished good as per plan and issue PO to vendors.
  • Responsible for demand visibility to direct procurement  via timely release of required material schedules to drive supply reliability and reduced lead times
  • Production order fulfilment analysis and summarization for continuous improvement.
  • To lead ROP from SITE on monthly basis and coordinate with Planning Manger to firm up monthly production schedule and schedule future production plan based on rolling forecast
  • Key POC for NPI(New Product Initiatives) implementation for mass production
  • As a key representative of Syngenta and an intermediary with 3rd Party Manufacturers ensure full compliance of tollers with Syngenta's HSES and quality requirements and with regulatory, contractual, and financial frameworks. Maintain a tolling supply base delivering production flexibility and reliability at a competitive total cost, coordinate and consult the different Syngenta functions on tolling and toller related topics, acting as a single key point of contact at a managerial level.

  • Understanding of company’s HSE policy and standards and ensure its implementation in routine work/day to day activities
  • Working closely with the Planning and procurement manager, understand supply requirements with given monthly production plan.
  • Accountabilities

  • Understanding of company’s HSE policy and standards and ensure its implementation in routine work/day to day activities
  • Working closely with the Planning and procurement manager, understand supply requirements with given monthly production plan.
  • Maintaining a balanced rough cut capacity plan for a minimum of 0-12 months and a detail weekly capacity plan over the short-term, in order to meet the requirements of asset production & supplier scheduling
  • To maintain & reflect agreed data in SAP for manufacturing lead time, process reliability and capacity availability
  • Clearly define, own & regularly report performance measure that are aligned with country / regional requirement : Attaining report
  • Control and manage production plan, activities, material flow to support production line smoothly in order to avoid downtime. 
  • To ensure the effective introduction of new SUs and bulks, includes BOM, routings etc.
  • Fully understand site production line flexibility and production capacity, labour constraints, well communicate with on line supervisors, and work out weekly production plan with 4 weeks rolling every Friday by effective use our assets.
  • Communicate well in advance with kinds of issues, such as material constraints, and production line capacity issues, to check if monthly plan requires revise.
  • Assist warehouse to set up material safety stock reasonably, work with team to achieve inventory target.
  • Ensure all reporting & legal compliances at the tollers end
  • Ensure utilisation of SAP and ensure maintenance of ERP discipline
  • Coordinator for manufacturing cost budgeting, monitoring and control in close collaboration with finance and Site Leadership Team.
  • Ensure reporting regimes in terms of plan fulfilment and MPS accuracy
  • Utilisation of SAP and maintaining ERP discipline in PP & MM processes
  • Analysis and gaps to be regularly shared and discussed with relevant stakeholders for plan fulfilment and assets utilization
  • Manage tolling volumes and allotment of volumes to tollers in close collaboration with the planning and directs procurement manager
  • Ensure periodic review and maintenance of SAP master data (including AGI code creation, extensions, etc.)
  • Manage full tracking of raw material obsolescence, slow-moving stock and propose disposition
  • Support and develop documentation of work instructions and SOPs as part of continuous improvement of the planning functions and activities
  • Close liaison with HSE, Quality & production manager to ensure agreed monitoring and support regime for the tollers
  • To actively participate in the resolution of issues related to PP (production planning) and MRP (material requirement planning).
  • Coordinate reworking related works and ensure the efficiency of rework process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum graduate, preferably  Masters from reputable university
  • Good experience in Manufacturing(Agrochemical background will be preferred)
  • Strong knowledge and skill in ERP especially SAP, Supply Chain Management, SCOR
  • Understand SOX & ISO
  • Good grasp of 3rd party relationship management
  • Good knowledge of HSE, Quality and Regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of production & Planning
  • Good in written and spoken in English.
  • Ability to analyse data trends to understand supply chain effectiveness.
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Self-starter/autonomous
  • Results oriented Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
