We are looking for an Order Management Specialist to support our Order Management team with end-to-end order processing, related documentation, data management. In this role, you’ll be able to learn more about how logistics team function within a global organization. Your main responsibilities include:
- Ensure customer service and on time supply performance is delivered by following Syngenta processes and system settings
- Follow daily and on time Order Processing, Delivery creation including initiation of Master Data updates, Customer Profiles and price agreements in SAP
- Pro-actively communicate with market and supply contacts to identify and correct issues in a timely fashion
- Develop skills and knowledge to support added value activities such as forecast acquisition projects, improvement work, logistics expertise etc.
- Effectively share information to the overall benefit of EAME Logistics and Order Management in Syngenta
Qualifications and required experience
- Degree or equivalent working experience in Business or Supply Chain
- Proven experience in a similar position, order management or commercial preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical Industry
- Cross-functional knowledge with emphasis on familiarity with Sales and Marketing (e.g. new product introductions, life-cycle management)
- User knowledge of the SAP SD/MM module (O2C/D&C processes)
- Fluency in English and additional European language knowledge is beneficial
- Proactive and can-do attitude with good problem-solving skills
