The Operations Quality Specialist is assigned to ensure the implementation of the Quality Management System at site level. Together with the global QMD, the job holder ensures compliance with NAKT Elite Certification program, ASLN (Authorized Service Laboratory Naktuinbouw) conditions, and Global GAP locally. The Operations Quality Specialist supports local teams and process owners to understand, adapt and apply the Quality Management System as a tool to improve internal processes and product quality in all R&D Operations.

Qualifications

  • Accountable for Quality Management System on site and guarantee alignment with Global QMS. 
  • Support creation and supply of clean stock for customer trials, E0 trials and starter material for commercial production according to crop strategies. 
  • Support greenhouse operation for breeder/marketing trials and stock maintenance, safeguarding company’s genetics. 
  • Ensure HSES Environmental Compliance and Recordkeeping 
  • Provide quality control of all outgoing materials by performing quality inspection using stereoscope for pest identification. 
  • Takes care of logistic details, communicates to all involved functions about the upcoming audit, works with and supports the involved local functions to manage the audit findings.  
  • 3+ years of experience in horticulture or seed industry 
  • Experience in vegetative or seed production
