In Action

In the Seed Production Vegetables EAME department, you and a top team, consisting of friendly colleagues, are responsible for the administrative handling of vegetable seed productions within Syngenta Seeds. The market determines which varieties are produced and the cultivation of these productions then takes place at Syngenta's own production companies and external ones. This process takes place worldwide, which ensures that you connect with professionals worldwide. You are one of the most important links in the successful start-up of new vegetable seed productions, a real spider in the web for your crop or crop group.

The Challenge
Productions are started several times a year at various global vendors. This is where the Multiplication Order Management Employee ('MOM') comes into the picture. The MOM is the operational manager of the seed stock. This stock may be stored in Enkhuizen, but sometimes must be requested from other locations worldwide. As soon as production starts, you send the seed to the vendor and in case of problems before or during shipment, you act as the first point of contact. All orders, stock movements and contracts must be recorded in our ERP System (SAP). During production you are responsible for maintaining SAP and all other administration. You inform important stakeholders so that they can keep their plan as accurate as possible. Once the seeds have been produced, you are responsible for coordinating the receipt of goods and payment from the vendor. A more than interesting role to start or continue your career in a very fascinating and dynamic Supply Chain Vegetable Seeds. After a careful training period, you will work independently a lot, but support is close by if necessary. We like to help each other!
