MDM Manager and LSS Analyst

Role purpose

• Champions – Good communication and coordination, cross-functional collaborative, proactive approach mindset, self-starter, vast knowledge in SAP master data area and statical tool analysis capabilities to solve complex issues and help projects wherever it’s required!

Accountabilities (100%)

Material Master Data Maintenance

1. Master data management  is to manage & organize, master data according to the business rules of the sales, marketing and operation & Planning strategies.
2. Create/Extension of Material code to Tracking the Inventory, Processing ,Packing and      invoicing purpose.
3. Maintain the inspection type to update the Quality data  to review Inventory
4. Maintain the Overhead Cost through Recipe for accurate the standard cost
5. Updating Bill of Material-BOM for Production, Operation for Budget workings for next Year

Budget Activity:

1. BOM Template Review CORN, RICE Crop and make necessary changes in foundation system
2. BOM updating of CORN, RICE crop for Production, Operation, parent seed with raise the request to Capgemini
3. Activity Rate/Duration updating as per guideline of Finance business controller
4. Recipe creation/Review and mapping to material code with accurate BOM usage and Alt BOM.
5. Standard Costing review with finance business controller.
6. Budget cost run error review and make necessary correction in BOM and recipe and close the error.
7. Unplanned Material Retirement as per planner, operation and parent seed team confirmation

Stakeholder Management:

1. P&S Field Production : Closely working with  Production team for Grower code creation, purchase info record creation and New NPL material code creation
2. P&S Operations and Quality Team : Closely working with Plant Operations, Quality for review Non Seed Material code creation, new Alt Bom Creation & inspection plan review.
3. Logistic and C&F Team : Closely working with Creation of Intercompany Vendor /Customer code creation to prepare Smooth transaction of STO
4. Sales and Marketing Team: As per Marketing team requirement create New Treatment code and create material code as per their Range Request and update the Variety Name and Material description in material master.
5. R&D Team: Coordinate with R&D team to Provide the SAP Details to reduce the Duplication of variety.

LSS Analytics:

1. Understand the process well for the project and data collection requirements-
2. Identify critical analytical tool as per project and data available
3. Do the minitab and other statical analysis
4. Extract key msgs out of the analysis and help project team

Track and trace system master data management:

1. Maintain the Material codes IN Optel System
2. Updating the HSN Code,v GSTN Product hierarchy and SKU
3. Updating the Product and selling unit

Key Reports:

1. Bill of Material- BOM Plant Level.
2. Recipe report with secondary resources.
3. Variety/Material classification report
4. Purchase Info record Report.
5. Material Master report
6. Minitab and statical analysis

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects to accomplish project goals.

• Extensive working experience with Lean ways of working (WOW)/ Lean Six Sigma-Kaisan methodology.

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

• With a degree in master /manufacture from a reputed university.
• Industrial LSS experience would be preferred
• Good Knowledge and understanding of Variety, Material master data and related processes as well as system knowledge(SAP, Data process flow in system)
• Must have extensive analytical knowledge about master data management and manufacturing excellence tools.
• Deep Understanding of MDM processes and business impacts.

Knowledgeable on change management processes with preferably having delivered change involving new ways of working for an organization.
