Role Purpose:

  • To lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of Sales & Marketing capabilities and skills globally. This includes to ensure that commercial blueprints are continuously evolving to remain a competitive edge for Syngenta. It further includes identifying gaps and addressing those by appropriate tool and/or learning experience and driving change management across the organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensures continuous improvement of sales & marketing capabilities, aligned to global and regional business strategies. 
  • Collaborates with regions and countries to define capability needs and identifies gaps vis-à-vis a defined proficiency.
  • Leads the development, implementation and delivery of capability building programs in conjunction with internal customers and 3rd party vendors.
  • Leads the localization, implementation, adoption of sales & marketing processes and tools globally.
  • Drives adoption of existing Learning Solutions and MaSE Programs.
  • Ensures the Syngenta way-of-doing Marketing a/o the Syngenta way-of-selling is constantly evolving and remains competitive in an ever-changing landscape. (Digitalization, Marketing Automation, New GTM etc.) 
  • Leads global MaSE communities for Sales a/o Marketing.
  • Support the business via MaSE Coaching and Training delivery.
  • Establishes and manages collaboration networks to foster sharing of best practice, and issue solving in the sales a/o marketing space.

Qualifications

  • Experience leader in sales a/o marketing roles (fluent in content, processes, and tools).
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in commercial role.
  • Proven sales a/o marketing practitioner.
  • Solid experience in project or program management.
  • Experience in Capability Building preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
