You build and maintain a weekly treating and packing plan for the season for our sites in EAME, in line with the rough-cut capacity plan, seeds and non-seeds availabilities, market priorities, plant treating & packing capacities, logistics/certification lead-times.

The job is offered on a permanent contract, based in France/Saint Sauveur (31).

This position requires occasional business trips in Europe (2 to 3 time per year, workshop, and visits).

Start date: as soon as possible.

Accountabilities:

You are responsible of the coordination along the Supply Chain, especially with Site Planners, Short Term Planner, Vendor Schedulers and Logistics team, to ensure adherence to treating & packing plan over the current season horizon.

You manage proactively key contacts, including  Short Term Planners, Toller/plant Manufacturing schedulers and Vendor Schedulers. You collaborate also with S&OP and SPP planner, Quality manager and site schedulers.

You propose and test/implement automated planning tools solutions.

You are responsible for developing, maintaining a balanced weekly treating, and packing plan for commercial seeds Sunflower for EAME plants in line with the rough-cut capacity plan, seeds, and non-seeds availabilities. (consolidated with new harvest and carryover stocks information), market priorities highlighted by Short term planners, plant treating & packing capacities, logistics, quality and certification lead-times.

You identify and escalate future supply constraints and site capacity overloads to Short-term planners before they become current problems – and you propose options for their resolution which preserve promised planned manufacturing date as far as possible.

Also, you measure adherence to processing plans for all EAME sites from ready to treatment & packing stages. Propose corrective actions if any deviation is identified. Support Short Term planners in the development of Tactical supply plans and execute the agreed plans.

Coordinate and support the Toller and Plant manufacturer scheduler for quality aspects and technical planning & SAP transactional issues.

Ensure seamless communication and coordination with Short Term Planners, Quality manager, site schedulers, to ensure optimal use of work centres across EAME plants.

Ensure that plants execute discards of seeds according to approved process.

Actively participate in all initiations addressing the improvement of the planning cycle: improve/simplify current processes, be open for new technical solutions. Be included in preparation of new tools implementation, collaborate in testing and validation, finally implementation of new tools.


Qualifications

Engineer or Master’s degree in Agronomy or Supply Chain/Logistic, with a minimum 3years experience, in the industry. An experience in an international agronomy company is appreciate.

Experienced in planning and project management, in an International and cross function environment.

We are looking for a real team player, with excellent communication skills and leadership.

Result oriented and customer focused.

Ability to make tough decisions under pressure and to challenge issues at various levels of the organization.

Data Management capabilities Pack Office/SAP required.

Fluent in English mandatory, French is an advantage (to evolve in a multicultural environment)

Site not accessible by public transport.
