About this opportunity:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Operations Global Business Process Consultant (BPC) to partner with business leaders to establish & drive the Crop Protection Manufacturing Excellence strategic agenda in both our Active Ingredients and Formulation, Fill & Pack operations.  In this role, you will ensure Manufacturing Operations process design integrity and optimisation, incorporating external insights and innovation where appropriate, while acting as a focal point for other BPC engagement and Manufacturing Operations activities.

You will be accountable for:

  • Providing subject matter expertise, guidance and process leadership in order to support and improve business performance across Crop Protection manufacturing operations
  • Ensuring a functional roadmap is established and prioritized by business leaders and mapped against the business strategy
  • Identifying opportunities / risks resulting from situational changes such as new regulation, data insights, new business situations to shape new ways of working
  • Working with senior stakeholders and Business Process Owners to identify & assess the feasibility of potential new solutions
  • Working with the Project Management and Change & Transformation communities to scope and design solutions that maximize value for the business
  • Effectively managing key interfaces (eg to Crop Protection Production & Supply Centre of Expertise, Functional Centres of Expertise, Business Process Owners, Operational Excellence, IT etc).

Knowledge, experience & capabilities required for the role:

Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of production operations ideally within a similar industry
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement & operational excellence are advantage
  • Literate in Smart Manufacturing
  • Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage

Experience:

  • Hands on experience of transformational change delivery within a global organization
  • Working in a multi-cultural and complex matrix organization
  • Production management roles or in other manufacturing areas
  • Project and change management experience is an advantage

Capabilities:

  • Sound influencing skills and ability to establish strong working relationships across the organizational hierarchy
  • Analytical thinker, able to effectively break complex problems into simple steps. Balancing strategic direction with tactical short-term needs
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with effective communication skills
  • Flexible mindset and ability to work across diverse teams
  • Able to tolerate ambiguity and capacity to adapt to new scenarios

A Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or IT
