Job description

Role purpose

As a Manufacturing Excellence Transformation Officer, you will be responsible for driving the design, implementation strategies and maintenance of the Manufacturing Excellence roadmap. The role focuses on planning and allocating resources to deliver the strategic agenda, tracking and reporting risks, dependencies, issues, and actions, and ensuring effective cost and benefit tracking. The Transformation Officer also plays a crucial role in designing internal processes, developing change management approaches, and collaborating with external partners to plan and track ongoing engagements.

Accountabilities

  • Developing and maintaining the ManEx roadmap, aligning it with organizational objectives and strategies.
  • Planning and communicating 12-18 months transformation journey visualization
  • Planning and allocating resources to deliver the strategic agenda, ensuring effective utilization and alignment with priorities.
  • Monitoring and reporting on ManEx risks, dependencies, issues, and actions, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Tracking and analyzig the costs and benefits associated with ManEx initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Designing and improving internal processes within the ManEx function, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with best practices. Including audits, scoping definition and communicating in advance.
  • Developing and implementing change management approaches for ManEx initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
  • Collaborating with external partners, such as suppliers or consultants, to plan and track ongoing engagements, leveraging their expertise and resources.
  • Engaging with stakeholders across the organization, including operations, engineering, and leadership teams, to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with ManEx goals.

Qualifications

  • MS/BS in industrial, engineering, chemical sciences, or a 5-year technical degree in related discipline
  • Fluency in English
  • Project/Program Management expertise with proven methodology application
  • Manufacturing industry knowledge and transformation project experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills across cultures
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to work in complex structures
  • Experience in stakeholder management and leading without direct authority
  • Skilled in handling and presenting complex data clearly
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently
  • Willing to travel and work on-site as required
