Planning & Order Management

  • Lead Resource Operation planning meeting against Short Term demand.
  • Development, maintenance and execution of the short-term supply plan for plant in scope and in line with commercial unit demand and specific market requirements.
  • Day to day inventory management of commercial seeds with regards to quantity, quality and usability as well as supporting inventory provision and write off process.
  • Corrective action ( i.e. derogation ,prorate etc) of the short term supply plan to remediate forecast changes and /or production/processing problems in order to meet the customer promise date .
  • Timely communication to commercial unit and portfolio managers with reference to the expected crop availabilities, usability and constraints if any.
  • Actively supports continuous improvement and initiatives of process standardization /documentations etc.
  • Support and provide input for S&OP and MBR processes.
  • Management, coordination and maintenance of material master data in system.
  • Ensure an effective supply plan that would balance demand and coordinating activities that would support its execution through understanding the market requirements
  • Acts as primary contact between region (e.g. Crop Planner), in-country teams (e.g. ordering or supplying country’s respective supply planner, order manager and logistics officers, Quality, Plant and warehouse, Purchasing and Marketing) and requisite external stakeholders (e.g. tollers and vendors) regarding all those relating to final SKU supply quantities and timing
  • To ensure the efficient importation and procurement of Syngenta and Third-Party products through the nominated brokers and suppliers. Appropriately set vendor and toller schedules in accordance with the demand requirements and procurement plans
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for maintaining country-specific inventory   within acceptable levels as set by Regional and Country objectives.
  • Coordinates with marketing on move-out plans for expired and SLOB inventory and ensure to reduce budget for write-off.
  • Recommends and monitors levels of provision and implementation of goods disposal activities.
  • Provide inputs on SUs under RGM (Return Goods Memo) to ensure that returned items will not worsen inventory condition.
  • Coordinate with quality on to ensure appropriate classification is maintained in FOU system
  • Facilitates information towards the derogation process and communicates decision on derogations to logistics.
  • Ensuring customers’ orders are delivered on time as per agreed service level agreement in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Responsible for reviewing all OTIF/Order Filled rate information and acting on root cause analysis to identify and resolve key and ongoing challenge

EXIM, Logistics & Customer Service

  • Coordination with local logistics team to execute all logistics activities to ensure of customer satisfaction maximization under product and service delivery with good Order Filled rate and optimum cost to serve with highest HSE compliance.
  • Responsible for optimizing the Primary & Secondary Distribution Variable Expense.
  • Responsible for PDVE & SDVE budget and target.  This includes functional budgeting, customer com-pliant management, reporting and KPIs management.
  • Take the lead customer compliant and feedback management.  Addressing issues and introduce remedial action.
  • Preparation of application for getting various incentives/benefits from government & Maintain Record for the same (related with EXIM).
  • Follow up with Clearing Agents, forwarder & transporter for clearance of goods. Coordination with other functions for shared services.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge on production and materials planning, S&OP, EXIM , Logistics, basic plant operations & Customer service and order management
  • Knowledge of purchasing policies, procedures, and principles
  • Knowledge of business system principles (i.e. applicable ERP system, etc.), MRP
  • Understanding of related basic financial concepts
  • IT systems, experienced in SAP-O2C, WMS, and MM modules or other WMS package

Critical experience

  • At least 5 years combined experience in production & material planning and purchasing
  • Has good a background in the operations of a manufacturing firm
  • Has experience in coordinating with people at different levels of the organization
