Job description

Your Mission

As our new Maintenance Manager, you'll revolutionize how we approach equipment reliability and operational excellence. Starting with our factory operations, you'll design maintenance systems that keep our production running smoothly even during our busiest seasons. Your expertise will directly impact our success as you:

  • Pioneer our maintenance strategy:
    • Create comprehensive preventive maintenance plans that become the standard for years to come.
    • Create and manage critical spare parts inventory system and documentation.
    • Establish clear maintenance protocols for seasonal and permanent staff.
    • Respond effectively to critical breakdowns with rapid problem-solving
  • Lead through influence 
    • Provide technical guidance to operators on equipment maintenance procedures.
    • Build strong relationships across departments to ensure maintenance activities support overall site objectives.
  • Shape decisions at the highest level
    • Actively participate in the site leadership team alongside Production, HSE, Laboratory, Planning, Parental Production and Logistics leaders
  • Connect globally 
    • Engage with regional teams on projects that advance our worldwide operations.
    • Communicate effectively with regional teams on maintenance projects and initiatives
  • Technical Oversight
    • Focus on electrical systems, automation, frequency variation controls, and mechanical components.
    • Provide specialized expertise for complex equipment, particularly the color sorting machine.
    • Support budget preparation and CAPEX planning for site development.
    • Manage third-party service providers and equipment suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Technical Industrial Engineering degree minimum.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in industrial maintenance management.
  • Experience with electrical systems, automation, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of HSE principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems.
  • Fluent both in Spanish, and in English for regional collaboration and projects.
