About this opportunity:

We are looking for a Logistics Business Process Analyst to provide Logistics focused systems expertise to understand and identify how to maximize business value across multiple digital platforms.

This role will function as an anchor-point to support key users and secure logistics process and systems design knowledge within Syngenta.

You will support the review and harmonization of key Logistics business processes and function as the custodian of these processes, global design blueprints on behalf of the Global BPC and Business Process Owner. Another area of the role will be to support the development of key user competencies and process documentation in relation to Logistics to help ensure knowledge is sustained within the organization. The role would contribute in designing and performing Logistics process analytics to help optimize the process performance and operational efficiencies across logistics landscape.

You will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring business needs are translated into clear requirements/user stories for the functional Logistics initiatives.
  • Actively contributing within Logistics projects, understanding the requirements from the business and providing expertise in our processes and systems.
  • Supporting the development of key users and high-quality process documentation to help ensure knowledge is transferred and sustained within the organisation.
  • Establishing a network of users with a train the trainer approach on logistics processes/functionalities.
  • Collaborating with key users to build analytics models for Logistics process improvements.
  • Working with data engineers to identify data requirements and flows for internal and external Logistics activities.
  • Being a custodian of the global logistics design framework, responsible to update, review with Global & regional BPCs while working with stakeholders to analyze and optimise process performance using techniques such as process mining (Celonis).
  • Maintaining, reviewing & timely updating Logistics business process documentation (process flows, Logistics Master data SIPOCs etc) as applicable.
  • Periodicly reviewing & analysing logistics milestones with BPCs and business stakeholders.
  • Capturing & analyzing user stories and closely working with Functional Analysts to help translate them into functional requirements.
  • Supporting BPCs to Analyze, prioritize & scope the requirements & full sign off from business stakeholders for such.
  • Closely working with the ERP/SAP team on small change or project requirements which help prioritize requirements in alignment with Product Owners.
  • Support project team & steady state teams from process documentation, training standpoint during transition of the project/program in steady state

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge:

  • A solid understanding of functional systems around Logistics and data management
  • A good understanding of business process mapping.
  • Being literate in Data and Analytics with a good understanding of how to structure and analyze data.
  • Being fluent in English. Other languages are an advantage.

Critical experiences:

  • Maintenance process management harmonization, improvement, and analysis in a relevant organisation.
  • Project management experience.
  • Working in a multi-cultural and complex matrix organization.
  • Functional experience in the use of systems.
  • Delivering training to users, translating concepts and system usage in business language.

Key technical, professional, and personal capabilities:

  • Analytical thinker, who effectively breaks down complex problems into simple steps.
  • An understand of how tools/technology (S/4 Hana, WMS, TMS, FIORI ETC) operates.
  • Understanding/experience of working on IT tools like SNOW, JIRA to capture user stories.
  • Awareness of current trends/technologies in the logistics space.
  • Ability to understand touchpoints to Logistics with ongoing/upcoming programs.
  • Ability to translate business language into process and system functional concepts.
  • Being an enthusiastic and initiative-taking team player with effective communication skills.
  • Having strong influencing skills - develops relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work across networks and with diverse teams.

Qualifications:

  • A Masters or Batchelors degree in Logistics/Supply chain Or Engineering, IT
