Learning Technology Consultant

Purpose:

The purpose of the Learning Technology Consultant role is to act as a technical expert of the Degreed and Docebo learning platforms, ensure their smooth operation, and provide a user-centric, intelligent and reliable technical support to the users. This includes understanding well the Syngenta learning ecosystem and partnering with Learning Technologists, responsible for delivering platform changes, as well as other support teams.

Accountabilities:

• Deliver intelligent, technically feasible, sustainable and practical solutions, and provide an expert advice on the learning platforms
• Provide user-centric and high-quality services as per the Global Learning Services Catalogue
• Deploy org-wide mandatory trainings in partnership with content owners
• Manage user support cases through a dedicated case management system
• Deliver business-as-usual technical platform support and resolve technical issues and escalations
• Develop and maintain process maps, working instructions and knowledge articles
• Adhere to the established technical and operational governance frameworks and ways of working
• Run continuous improvement projects to drive productivity, automations and operational excellence
• Support Group Learning CoE with testing for technology changes
• Co-create ways of working for the Global Learning Delivery Team to enable lean and agile operations

Knowledge, experience & capabilities:

• University degree in IT / Social Studies or equivalent expertise
• Proficient English language skills 
• Min 5 years of working experience with learning and/or other HR platforms
• Experience deploying simple and practical high-quality solutions, maintaining technologies through a systematic approach, and serving demanding customers providing technical advice and support
• Effective listening and good communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of leading yourself and working effectively in teams across disciplines within a matrix environment spread across geographies and cultures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including end-to-end and critical thinking
• Advanced level Excel experience
• Advanced technical knowledge and work experience with Degreed and Docebo platforms is an advantage
• Knowledge of working with middleware systems, such as MuleSoft, HTML and API is an advantage
• Work experience with HR systems e.g. Workday, and case management systems, e.g. ServiceNow, is an advantage
