ROLE PURPOSE

  • Support deliveries of Commercial Budget through effective demand creation based agreed account plans for ME countries,
  • Strive for excellence in forecasting and operational customer support (demos, trials, training) to ensure targets delivery through channel pull
  • Establish a strong network from agents to Sugar factories and distributors to be the first point of contact for market intelligence in his area

Geographic Scope: Middle East Countries.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead distributors and KA to achieve business targets and review account’s performance against KPI’s
  • Building up and implement Key Account Plan, align with all related functions.
  • Ensure proper forecasting/planning with his customer support and stakeholders in charge, closely follow AR
  • Responsible for complaint handling with own customers and inform Area Technical Support
  • Build solid and professional relationship based on recognized expertise and trust with relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the Go to Market and Channel strategies.
  • Propose and participate in country portfolio strategy. Support accelerating NPIs and maintaining the product life cycle.
  • Proactively support the new product introduction process.
  • Weekly reporting in prescribed format
  • Collect all possible market information and share them to feed the Business Intelligence data base.
  • Constantly evaluate the GTM strategy with the Head of Sales and decide on adaptation when needed and ensure its implementation country per country through the Account Plans. Identifies areas for growth and makes clear, innovative and bold choices in terms of business focus.

Overarching Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all relevant Syngenta processes and policies are well understood and implemented by the country team and, where necessary, by customers.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, local legislation and competition law.
  • Promote the image of Syngenta, representing the Company with legal authorities,  industrial associations and all relevant institutional entities.
  • Actively develop relationships with outside bodies that have major influence on country business e. g external markets for products, international marketing boards etc.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

Critical experience and knowledge

  • 5 years Sales/marketing experience
  • Understand the multi-national environment.
  • Experience in ME countries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural or related degree
  • Understanding of competitive environment
  • Agronomy: general cropping practices, ag technology
  • Technical knowledge of crop protection and seeds products
  • Database management
  • Key Account Management skills
