Within our Agricultural Value Chain (AVC) team, we are currently seeking a Junior Trade Execution Coordinator based anywhere in Switzerland. In this role, you support growth ambition of global soft commodity trading activities in service of core Crop Protection and Seeds business growth the scope of responsibilities are:

  • Ensure smooth and accurate execution of commodities contracts.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing contracts (as per traders deal’s confirmation)
  • Coordination with trading desk, origination countries, vessel operations, supervision companies, finance, legal and insurance departments.
  • Coordinate international vessel shipments of bulk with vessel agents, suppliers and customers
  • Nominate vessel, supervision company and maintain constant follow up.
  • Issuing documentary instructions and double checking consistence with letter of credit/ contracts.
  • Ensure that all physical and administrative tasks incl. document issuance are performed in an accurate and timely manner as per the contractual obligations/requirements
  • Checking of incoming invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Issuance of sales invoices and arrange presentation of shipping documents to Buyers bank.
  • Finalization of vessels ie quality allowances and laytime calculations
  • Knowledge of Fosfa /Gafta /Anec rules

Qualifications

What are we looking for :

  • Minimum graduate level in international business, trading, or logistics
  • Be passionate and enthusiastic over agri trading business and like to take challenges in solving problems related to operation of such business
  • Autonomous, pro-active and solution-oriented attitude
  • Junior and preferably with 1 year experience in international trading execution.
  • Client oriented, and details oriented
  • Proficient in English as working language, ideally with certain level of skills in Mandarin or French
