The IT/Digital Product Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the solutions they design are scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop technology solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps for assigned products that are aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
- Ensure that solutions are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
- Participate in the development of IT strategies and roadmaps.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and proactively champion product improvements.
- Guide the product engineering team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies (e.g., agile methods) and best practices (e.g., reusability).
- Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate, financial and IT standards (e.g., architecture, compliance, security).
This is a remote role but the person should be located in the Mid-West to accommodate as much as 30% travel.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in IT/digital product management, preferably in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, UX design principles, and digital product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive informed decisions.
- Strong leadership qualities with a track record of successfully leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban and project management tools like JIRA or Asana.
Preferred:
- Solid PM skills is highly preferred
- Strong Technical skills at the coding level is a plus
- Experience in the Agriculture industry is plus
