As an IT Delivery Lead, you will build strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the Vegetables & Flowers business and based on a deep understanding of business strategy, operating models, and processes, provide IT leadership and delivery of must-win initiatives, particularly with CRM technologies (Salesforce).

Preferred locations:  Downers Grove, IL; Greensboro, NC; or Woodland, CA. Fully remote is also a possibility if located within the US.

Duties:

  • Partner with selected stakeholders in the sales and marketing function to identify their business problems and propose solutions based on sound technological knowledge with the aim to create business impact
  • Collaborate in the design and creation of the 3 to 5-year IT Roadmap for Flowers and Vegetables being accountable for the delivery of key initiatives
  • Act as a Project Manager for projects defined in the roadmap with to implement the agreed upon solutions by leveraging agile and waterfall methodologies as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with IT and Digital teams to ensure the Syngenta IT landscape is aligned to changing business needs and challenges
  • Work closely with the IT P&S (Production & Supply) business partner and Data teams (Business and IT) delivering cross-functional projects

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or relevant professional qualification
  • 5+ years of experience delivering IT projects and advising senior-level stakeholders
  • Knowledge of system capabilities in Salesforce
  • Strong project management competence (Agile and Waterfall) and understanding of IT service delivery principles
  • Understanding of key commercial business processes and data enablement
  • Understanding of global and regional IT strategy, operating model, polices, standards and governance processes

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration (MBA) or relevant professional qualification
  • 10 years of experience delivering IT projects and advising senior-level stakeholders
  • Knowledge of system capabilities in SAP
