IT Consultant- Commercial Solutions Seeds

Location:  Guadalajara, Zapopan, Mexico

Purpose of the role:

• To manage execution and support IT commercial initiatives in collaboration with requisition areas.
• To provide project (portfolio) and change management leadership during IT initiatives
• To engage with internal clients (and/or Distributors/Growers) on continuous improvement enabling commercial process to be fully effective in the global functions or region.
• To collaborate with Global Functions such as:  Finance, Marketing, Production and Supply.

Here is how this role will be critical to our business:

• Contribute to the implementation of the strategic direction for the commercial process together with regional stakeholders
• Identify changing business needs that might lead to the requirement for change or improvements to process in a domain
• Lead implementations during design, development, and deployment of them, applying project and product management expertise.
• Support the implementation of approved solutions by the Design Authority team, assess compliance with the global process standards
• Support the delivery of the regional IT portfolio with an Agile and engaged IT delivery capability in collaboration with territory IT Leaders.
• Point of escalation for incidents for all IT commercial matters.

Essential for this position:

Critical:

• Has commercial processes and IT domain knowledge and expertise
• Has project management expertise under waterfall and / or Agile methodologies
• Knowledge or understanding of (at least basic) SAP SD or Salesforce

Important:

• Ability to work across boundaries, results-oriented and teamwork
• English advanced level
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Good understanding of technology/ systems/architecture/cost related to delivery & support of services
• Good understanding of IT service framework and delivery, preferably process disciplines like ITIL.
• In-depth understanding of related /dependent IT services and impacts, working as a team to resolve and improve service delivery (end-to-end)
