As part of Syngenta IT & Digital Data Analytics Team, the BI Analyst will engage with business stakeholders across key business functions including Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance to understand and collaboratively explore opportunities to enable business outcomes through delivery of actionable data-insight passionate solutions.

Duties:

  • Establish trust and develop relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Gain an understanding of our business to perform analysis that translates business needs into data analytics solutions and predictive models.
  • Design, develop and deploy data products and analytics solutions including AI predictive models and Generative AI.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate data and systems.
  • Design, develop and test data model and ETL components.
  • Perform troubleshooting and bug correction for dashboard, reports, and data issues.
  • Anticipate needs and design productive user centered experiences.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to create, evolve, reuse solutions and fix issues.
  • Train and upskill business developer community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent education or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Analytics and Business. Intelligence instruments experience; or 3-4 years Qlik Sense experience preferred. Agriculture domain preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience working closely with business users to understand, define, and document data and analytics requirements.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Data Science Tools, AWS Redshift, SQL, Python and data modeling.
  • Excellent organization skills with the capacity to prioritize work and meet strict deadline.
  • Excellent ability to translate technical concepts and business information into various forms of documentation for diverse audience types (non-technical business teams, technical teams, system administrators, and integrators).
  • Excellent ability to leverage sound business judgment to translate complex business issues/needs into technical requirements and specifications.
  • Competency with Agile, Scrum, DevOps and associated software including JIRA and Microsoft Office.
