To support this challenge, Syngenta’s IT & Digital team is currently seeking an IT & Digital Product Manager in Greensboro, NC.

The IT & Digital Product Manager for North America Crop Protection is responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of IT products and solutions that meet the organization's business needs. This role serves as the bridge between the technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment between product vision, customer requirements, and technical capabilities.

Accountabilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and identify opportunities for product enhancements or new product development.
  • Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Work closely with stakeholders, including business units, end-users, and technical teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure clear communication of requirements to development teams.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, vendors, and partners. Communicate product updates, gather feedback, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Release Planning & Execution: Coordinate and manage product releases, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Work closely with development teams to plan and execute successful product launches.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to optimize product performance, enhance user experience, and drive adoption.
  • Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including budgets, personnel, and vendor relationships, to ensure successful product delivery and ongoing support.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across various teams, including development, operations, sales, marketing, and support, to ensure a cohesive and integrated product experience.
  • Team Leadership (Dependent Upon People Management): Lead and manage a small team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or related field.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship support from Syngenta.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Experience in product management, preferably in the IT industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum).
  • Ability to lead change, manage projects, and coordinate system integrations for assigned products.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and influence vendors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to design, deliver & manage quality outcomes for assigned products.
  • Ability to apply technical concepts, methodologies, and tools to effectively solve complex problems and/or deliver technical solution.
