In this newly created role within the Swiss Finance Operations & Controlling team you will support the Swiss end to end Invoice to Pay (I2P) and Finance operations processes with a focus on managing payments and payment queries.

The role requires proactive partnering with various internal and external stakeholders in and outside Switzerland and across functions, with an aim of ensuring seamless Invoice to Pay processes and good end user experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for payment and banking aspects for the Swiss entities, including the follow up on payment queries and issues and supporting payment operations on fund allocations, clearings, etc.
  • Manage the Swiss online banking and manual payment execution and monitor 3rd party payment exceptions
  • Ensure compliance of payment transactions and review and sign-off on internal controls relating to banking and payments, such as the bank reconciliations of the Swiss entities
  • Oversee the Swiss supply chain financing programs – releasing liability transfers and performing balance / payment reconciliations with the banks
  • Engage with key process stakeholders (Procurement Operations, Treasury Operations, Payment Factory teams) to ensure a smooth end to end Procure to Pay process
  • Explore opportunities for process / system improvement and efficiency. Work with I2P Business Partners and Operations teams to review, optimize and document the Swiss I2P processes
  • Contribute to effective knowledge sharing on I2P amongst stakeholders, e.g by providing trainings
  • Contribute to projects within I2P and Finance Operations
  • Support the compliant and timely delivery of internal controls and external audit requests
  • Work with the Swiss I2P Business Partners on adhoc requests

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Finance and/or experience of working in multinational team
  • Basic accounting and banking skills
  • Basic SAP knowledge
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, precisely with good attention to details
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a data driven mindset
  • Fluent in English, German or French is a plus
