We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual for our Biology Internship Program based at our Research and Development center in Stein. The program is designed to provide a hands-on experience in laboratory and field-based research. As a Biology Intern, you will work alongside experienced researchers and learn the skills necessary to contribute to the development of crop protection products.

Accountabilities:

  • Conduct laboratory and field-based experiments to evaluate the transcriptomics of abiotic stressed plants and their physiology
  • Develop and execute experiments to evaluate the effect of abiotic stress management techniques on plant growth and plant health
  • Participate in the development of new methods for whole plant phenotyping and analysis
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and objectives

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program Bioinformatics, molecular biology, plant physiology background is a plus
  • Previous experience in working in a biological laboratory is greatly valued
  • Strong interest and knowledge in transcriptomics, plant physiology, abiotic stress management, and whole plant phenotyping
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
