As our new team member, you will support our line managers by providing exceptional full-cycle recruitment support for their early in career vacancies (trainees, postgraduates, postdocs, etc.). Full cycle means you are going to be in charge of all the recruitment activities, starting with conducting briefing meetings to align with hiring managers and ending with the arrangement of formal contract agreements. So you and your activities will be key for Syngenta!

We are offering an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on work experience and insights into recruiting during a very dynamic time at Syngenta. You will be an integral part of our Talent Acquisition Team, managing recruiting activities across all client groups and all sites at Syngenta in Switzerland

During the internship, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the talent partners with managing administrative tasks such as giving feedback to candidates, write advertisements, perform phone screenings
  • Participate briefing / strategy meetings with hiring managers together with the talent partner to understand their recruitment requirements
  • Recruit Trainees end-to-end and support internal recruitment processes
  • Agree ways of working and communication channels with the hiring manager to ensure expectations are aligned
  • Work closely with the business to develop campaigns which support recruitment drives or initiatives such as attendance at careers fairs, industry events etc
  • Manage end-to-end candidate management – sourcing, screening, shortlisting, screening
  • Maintain the candidate workflow in the ATS (Taleo) to ensure data is accurate for reporting and HR administration hand off purposes
  • Participate in small projects that enhance client experience and/or increase efficiency of the recruitment process / offering

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Psychology, Business or in a related field.
  • Experience with clients would be a plus
  • Fluent in English and German. Additional foreign language skills, especially French, beneficial
  • Confident communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills, with a high sense for quality and professional management of administrative tasks
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite and social media tools
  • Willingness to learn to recruit and well versed in various sourcing & recruiting methodologies
