Internship in Process-/Chemical Engineering (f/m/d) – 6 months

We are currently looking for a Process-/Chemical Engineer Intern for a 6-month period to join our team in Kaisten.

Role Purpose:

  • Help further the Digital-Twin of one of Syngenta’s largest AI manufacturing units using first-principles Chemical Engineering and stochastic modeling
  • Realize Energy Usage, Process Robustness, Capacity Increase improvements of our current manufacturing process

Accountabilities:

  • Modelling and Dynamic simulations of an industrial manufacturing unit including reactors, distillation columns etc using ASPEN.
  • Conduct virtual experiments for improvements
  • Participate in plant trials
  • Share your learnings on the process with the team including deploying them in our Operator Training Systems

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering (or enrolled in final semester)
  • Reasonable competency in German and English
