Role Purpose 
The Integrated Operations Associate will be supporting all Operations processes Pre- and Post-Harvest, ensuring processes & areas are under control and with all the necessary resources to be success according to the daily – weekly – monthly plan.  He or she will be collaborating with other area managers to get the right information to make a plan according to the workload and priorities ensuring supplies, human resources & seeds to be use are in stock. The Integrated Operations Associate  also needs to promote a Culture of Safety & CI and participate proactively on Ops projects and participate on the digitalization local effort. The ideal candidate will be capable of sustaining the operation flow under best productivity practice as well as to communicate and work to resolve issues within broader operational team.
 

Accountabilities

• Provide Support / Leadership to all Operations Team members. 
• Make Visual Operations Processes information (KPI’s), measure efficiency on processes, adjust as needed. 
• Communicate to the integrated Operations Manager any deviation on processes Or Equipment Failure.  
• Promote / Participate on Kaizen Projects / Operational Excellence & EHS best practices. 
• Collaborate with other team members internal / External to adopt best operational practices.
• Support seed inventory and promptly discard, inventoried or ship seed as needed under required standards and regulations. 
• Participate / develop  on Team members Trainings.  
• Support R&D trial fulfilment for current projects and to request seed as needed.
• To communicate effectively and regularly with peers and operational stakeholders regarding project status, planned and completed work activities, and supply input needs,
• Support other Corn TI operational activities and tasks as needed
• Operate under LEAN Sig Sigma principles & OSHA standards.  
• Be part of the world class safety culture and support safety initiatives OPEX. 
• Participate proactively on QMS implementation / Sustain.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree In Industrial or Production Engineering
• Knowledge of  Ag Equipment (basic trouble shooting)
• Results oriented and driven to deliver high quality seed
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Relentless focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence, with the ability and motivation to learn, experiment with and deploy new technologies
• Outstanding Verbal and Written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences
• Adherence to all company, state and governmental safety, stewardship and regulatory requirements to maintain our freedom to operate
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and corporate software

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum 2 - year experience in an agricultural research setting. 
• Knowledge of Plant Biology
• Basic Spanish language competency preferred
