Role purpose

Support innovation strategy design and deployment for Seeds in Latin America, leading the regional innovation orchestration with territories, tracking performance and process coordination across region.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinate regional pipeline consolidation, providing visibility of innovation endeavors for Seeds accross Latin America territories and functions.
  • Conduct governance routines, track innovation strategy deployment and metrics
  • Engage and enable training and capability building across all organizational levels
  • Lead SPM & Licensing Innovation as our representation at the LATAM Hive
  • Track and coordinate the LATAM Innovation HIVE agenda

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge or experience in Corporate Innovation Tools and Frameworks such as Open Innovation, Corporate Venturing etc.
  • Desired former experience managing corporate innovation processes, monitoring performance and identifying key improvement opportunities for innovation fluency within large corporates;
  • Innovation Impact measurement expertise
  • Change/Project Management experience implementing transformational projects, managing multiple stakeholders and creating win-win scenarios

Critical technical and professional capabilities

  • English is mandatory to ensure ability to discuss and influence in this language; Spanish language is desirable (for Brazilian candidates)
  • Digital fluency is required
  • High-collabortative skills – Work together to deliver
  • Ability to make decisions under uncertainty

  • Critical and analytical thinking: from an integrated and strategic vision, identify the blind and bright spots to connect the best innovation capabilities;
  • Influencer: being able to promote discussions and foster new perspectives and approaches with innovation teams;
  • 360° vision of innovation: in-depth knowledge of innovation methodologies, knowing how to apply them to the context of each project front
  • Futuristic view: be aware of market trends and movements to calibrate the innovation strategy connected to the business and functions’ needs
  • Connector and organizer: from a provocative posture, ensure the progress of strategic discussions, cascaded into organized, connected and effective routines

Additional information

  • Travel requirement: 20-30% (depending on based location)
