Identity & Access Management Architect

The Identity & Access Management Architect will design, architect, implement and continuously improve Syngenta’s global Identity & Access Management solutions and to offer escalation support within the enterprise Identity and Access Management stack. The Identity & Access Management Architect is key to providing a seamless, secure and reliable sign on experience for Syngenta’s global internal and external user community and provide re-certification assurance for Syngenta’s Compliance Requirements. Specific job duties include the following:

• Implement, manage, document and enhance Syngenta’s enterprise Identity & Access Management framework and support standard Identity Services that use the following standards: SAML, oAuth, LDAP, OpenID Connect and MFA.
• Work with developers and application owners to analyze Syngenta's applications in order to identify appropriate Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Design, support and contribute to improvements on Syngenta's JML (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) (onboarding/ offboarding) processes.
• Create and support of procedures and governance programs for IAM related to legacy environments, on-premise systems, and cloud systems for users, customers and partners.
• Architect and govern the delivery of IAM Services for Critical Applications for Syngenta.
• Implement and govern Privileged Access tools and processes throughout the enterprise. 7) Deliver efficient, effective and supportable solutions while complying with internal processes, security requirements and appropriate policies.
• Proactively evaluate new IAM platforms and upgrades to support platform lifecycle management and design, implement and support enterprise IAM products such as Azure AD, Okta and SailPoint.
• Utilize experience working with cloud technologies (AWS and Azure); Certificate Authorities and PKI; and implementing Enterprise Cloud SSO Integration with an external provider (like SFDC, Concur, etc.).

Infrequent domestic and international travel may be required to provide user training and education. Position based at company office in Durham, NC. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance of this office.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience.

Must also have 36 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following:

• Designing, implementing and supporting enterprise IAM products such as Azure AD, Okta and SailPoint.
• Working with cloud technologies (AWS and Azure); Certificate Authorities and PKI; and implementing Enterprise Cloud SSO Integration with an external provider (like SFDC, Concur, etc.).
• Supporting standard Identity Services that use the following standards: SAML, oAuth, LDAP, OpenID Connect and MFA.

All experience may have been gained concurrently. Must pass a background check and drug test before beginning employment. Infrequent domestic and international travel may be required to provide user training and education. Position based at company office in Durham, NC.
