About this job

Part of Syngenta’s HR Operations team you will plan and deliver critical projects directly and oversee delivery of remaining projects across EAME, to be successful we believe you will have a strong HR background and have recent experience in a project delivery role. 

You will partner with key stakeholders across the EAME region and on global projects therefore strong relationship and influencing skills is important as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks.  This is an autonomous role and will suit an individual who demonstrates the skills above along with experience of working in a culturally diverse environment. 

We are open to the location and welcome applications from candidates in Budapest and Bucharest, Poland who have excellent business level English.   Additional locations outside of the UK are based on current team locations.

Accountabilities in more detail:

  • Strategically develop HR solutions on an EAME regional level through to implementation
  • Translate conceptual ideas and requirements into clearly defined projects and end-to-end solutions
  • Define, plan and drive delivery of end-to-end solutions across technology, processes and data in collaboration with subject matter experts, technical and process teams
  • Coordinate and define changes in HR solutions and provide direction to the technical and design teams over system changes and enhancements
  • Provide strategic and business critical Syngenta HR Process and Solution consultancy to the functional HR leadership team members and HR teams in the EAME region
  • Identify opportunities for introducing new approaches, continuous improvement and good practices within EAME and potentially worldwide
  • Act as a regional incident manager for Priority 1 issues, handling the incident as single point of contact for the client and coordinate the resolution and root cause analysis with internal resources and partners

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience

  • Excellent operational or consulting experience in the HR domain with a proven track record in actively being a part of implementing large scale HR technology and process solutions through to delivery
  • Experience working with large regional project teams in a matrixed environment
  • Experience collaborating across geographies and cultures
  • Strong project management and change management experience and capabilities
  • Strong technical knowledge with HR systems (Workday, SAP), integrations, automation
  • Expertise in business process management, process design methodologies and techniques
  • You will have the ability to analyse information to reach an answer or conclusion, challenge status quo, effective problem solving, think end-to-end across data, technology, processes and teams
  • High level of effective communication with ability to adapt style and language to the audience

Desirable:

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • Project Management certification
