Job Title: HR Operations Officer

Reports To: HR Operations Manager

Duration: 1 year contract

Position Summary:

The HR Operations Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions. The HR Operations Officer will work closely with the HR Operations Manager to ensure smooth and efficient operational support for the HR department and the organization as a whole.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Systems and Data Management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Manage the HR information system, ensuring data integrity and the correct processing of information.
  • Assist in conducting reference checks, issuing employment contracts, and letters.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Assist in processing monthly payroll.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include insurance and payroll vendors.
  • Provide administrative support for the HR team.
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies.
  • Assist in updating employee records and benefits enrollments.
  • Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.

 

Qualifications:                                                                                                            

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of human resource management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Knowledge of and experience with various human resource information systems.
