Location: Algea – Kristiansund (Norway)

Role Overview:

Dear Colleagues, are you ready to take your HR career to the next level? Algea, part of the Syngenta Group, is seeking a dynamic HR Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving our HR strategy to meet business and operational goals. This exciting position involves comprehensive talent management, from acquisition to development, empowering leaders and line managers, managing employee relations, and collaborating with global HR teams within the Biologicals & Seedcare sector of Syngenta.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Execution: Implement HR strategies, policies, and practices that enhance talent management, employee engagement, and stakeholder relationships.
Multi-Site Leadership: Oversee HR operations across three Algea locations, addressing unique site-specific needs and fostering site growth.
Resource Planning: Manage headcount planning, budgeting, and compensation/benefits in line with global guidelines, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Compliance and Administration: Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, maintain contact with payroll providers, and handle all administrative HR tasks.
Employee Relations: Manage disciplinary actions, litigations, industrial relations, and trade union interactions to maintain a harmonious workplace.
Talent Cycle Management: Oversee the entire talent cycle, from acquisition to onboarding, enhancing the company's attractiveness and ensuring a meaningful experience for new hires and line managers.
Daily Personnel Support: Provide timely support on HR-related issues, handle employee queries, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.
Employee Welfare Initiatives: Develop programs and activities that promote employee welfare, engagement, diversity, and inclusion in alignment with group guidelines.

 

What We're Looking For:

Educational Background: University degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent professional experience.
Language Skills: Norwegian as a native language and fluency in English.
HR Expertise: Extensive experience in HR functions, particularly in employee relations, unions, and talent management. A background in multinational companies or consulting firms is preferred.
Key Skills: Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication and influencing abilities, problem-solving skills, a data-driven mindset, and strategic thinking.
