About This Opportunity

As part of the HR Solutions & Systems Team the role of HR Digital Solution Consultant and Project Lead works across the HR department partnering with peers and leaders in HR Operations, CoE in People and Organisation Development and CoE Compensation & Benefits.

As a department valued for its high delivery standards, innovative solutioning and design thinking, this role will be responsible for the design and delivery of global strategic HR solutions and processes that create the best possible employee experience.

This role is much more than ‘just’ a project management role, alongside the usual PM activities, the role offers fantastic opportunities to partner with senior HR leaders, to progress conceptual thinking or innovative ideas into creative solutions, leveraging design thinking techniques/agile ceremonies/innovative approaches to deliver what users really want in simple and engaging ways and as a team ignitor you will create exciting working environments where project team members also take-away valuable experiences.

The role will build on existing partnerships to continue to elevate the teams brand and value within Syngenta.

Accountabilities

The HR Digital Project Manager works as part of the HR Portfolio Project Office, supporting the enablement of Syngenta’s HR & HR Technology Strategy.

  • Translate conceptual ideas and requirements into sustainable end-to-end HR solutions enabled by technology
  • Consult, advise and influence solution and process design to ensure sound and user-centric HR solutions and processes that provide an enhanced user experience
  • Project manage and deliver innovative HR solutions and processes with high quality standards, on time and within budget
  • Manage project methodology decisions (agile, waterfall, hybrid) and define ways of working that are most appropriate taking the project and stakeholder needs into account
  • Creation and management of end-robust project teams, plans, etc
  • Partner with the owner of the change to ensure appropriate stakeholder management & change management plans to support implementation
  • Agree and lead governance including SteerCo/stakeholder forums
  • Manage the project budget effectively
  • Partner with operations and technical teams to define new or revised end-to-end support model for the new solution, create the right people and process plans to ensure the successful transition from the project team to the steady state organisation
  • Collaborate with a one-team mindset
  • Proactively manage risks and dependencies and work with project teams and senior leaders to effectively resolve project issues
  • Stay up to date on and experiment with new technologies and ways of working that enable and support virtual collaboration, agile ways of working and design thinking
  • Actively contribute as a community of practice actively to the team of global and regional HR Solutions Consultants to ensure best practices, enable shared learnings, and achieve common goals
  • Guide and coach external or new internal project managers on our project methodologies and best practices

Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities

Critical

HR Solution Design is a critical element of this role – you must be able to demonstrate a ‘total experience’ design approach, to think critically and translate concepts and solutions into visual storyboards or detailed requirements

  • Facilitate and deliver design thinking practices
  • Significant project management experience implementing small- and large-scale HR technology solutions, managing project teams and creating exciting project team experiences
  • Experience working within a global & complex matrix organization
  • Business & technical acumen
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset
  • Agile project management experience
