  • You lead the global technical development of new Active Ingredients (where applicable) plus key strategic projects, from early field testing to product launch and Active Ingredient lifecycle management, actively looking for new approaches to enhance or re-position a product’s value proposition
  • You plan and coordinate harmonized field trial programs, liaising with research, the regions, and countries - assembling teams to deliver data efficiently and on time.
  • You provide technical positioning for Active Ingredients and design and communicate technical strategies for product use and development plans to deliver agreed business objectives.
  • You translate data into compelling technical launch plans that meet market/customer needs.
  • You foster technical networking, as well as actively seeking contacts with customers and key influencers to develop and support solutions.
  • You drive strategic innovation and creativity in projects and solutions, identifying new market opportunities for active ingredients, formulations and use of technology.
  • You technically support (where necessary) current and new third-party products and be fully involved in the third-party negotiation team in ongoing negotiations to access third party products and the potential co-development of in-house compounds.
  • You establish digital solutions that support trialing excellence and value product offers.

Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of agronomy (farmer practices) and agricultural sciences (e.g., MSc, Ph.D. or relevant agronomy experience)
  • Broad and detailed knowledge of agribusiness (applied agronomy into production system, crop protection, bio-stimulants, biologicals, abiotic stress management, new technologies, agronomic machinery engineering).
  • Proven track-record of delivering successful development projects in country/region/global role.
  • Globally recognised technical expert in agronomy, field biology and crop protection.
  • Experience data analysis and visualisation techniques to present field trial results in a new and easily understandable way.
  • Strong ability to interpret data to extract added-value, market-oriented messages and commercial platforms.
  • 3 to 5 years local market experience in agronomy and weed control.
  • You are focused on customers and dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • You are fluent in written and oral in English, any other language is an asset
  • You have the ability to influence, to lead and build a culture of innovation which creates an environment that inspires and supports creativity. You have strong pro-active communication skills and alignment with stakeholders.
