About this Opportunity:

We are looking for a Global Manufacturing Excellence – Operational Discipline Project Manager to support the manufacturing organization in diagnosing operations, embedding new ways of working and deliver breakthrough in production performance. You will develop and deploy new production management tools, processes and behaviours.

Accountabilities:

·       To perform operational discipline assessment on specific area of expertise (Maintenance, Production performance, Mindset and Behaviors) to identify opportunity for throughput increase and define breakthrough implementation plan.

.       To support local Manufacturing Excellence in developing organization capability.

·       The design of new tools

·       Training of employee on standardized practices (Syngenta Production System)

·       Coaching of leaders

·       Collaborate with functional experts to ensure that new capabilities are deployed (tools/processes/behavior) and are codified in Syngenta Production System

.       To perform targeted audits on Syngenta Production System & to issue recommendations for continuous improvements.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • MS/BS in Industrial, Engineering or Chemical sciences, or a 5-year technical degree in related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing problems and experience in transformation projects or capabilities assessment is a must.
  • Functional expertise in desired subject matter: Production performance, Maintenance, Lean leadership.
  • Will have demonstrated pragmatism and is familiar with the 80/20 approach.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and monitor multiple concurrent activities in order to meet ambitious timelines, influencing teams over which they have no line management accountability.
  • Must be mobile to travel and accompany project activity whenever required on sites.
  • Ability to understand, manipulate and present complex, and conflicting data.
  • Ability to access and utilize data systems, including SAP, data warehouses, etc.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing skills will be required to convince site Leadership Team and other key stakeholders of the need for change.
  • Proven record in the application of project and program management methodologies.
  • Strong capability to develop, coach & teach others in delivering change.
