Role purpose:

To ensure the right organizational and employee data is maintained in our HCM system to enable HR analytics and HR processes delivery by:

  • Monitoring and measuring data accuracy in the system
  • Investigating data quality issues' root causes and partnering with stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive end to end solutions to address them
  • Collaborating, advising, and educating HR teams on the right use of HCM-related processes and respective data input criteria to drive data quality

Accountabilities:

Data quality monitoring and governance:

  • Define data quality metrics for key data points and implement sustainable measurement methods
  • Run periodic meetings with key global and regional stakeholders to continuously monitor and improve data quality
  • Proactively monitor relevant system process transactions to check inconsistencies for the most impactful data points, including existing RPAs 
  • Run regular (e.g., for Annual Compensation Cycle, yearly Employee Engagement survey) and ad hoc data audits and data quality campaigns
  • Support regional counterparts to ensure audits, campaigns and any changes are deployed smoothly
  • Run periodic meetings and sustain the network with regional counterparts to share knowledge, updates, activities tracking and support each other
  • Determine methods and procedures of identifying and collecting information not currently captured in the system
  • Become a member of the Annual Compensation Cycle forum to support ad hoc data quality issues/resolving due to high visibility and short timelines

Data quality continuous improvement by addressing root causes:

  • Build strong networks with Business HR colleagues to strengthen outside in perspective on colleagues’ data challenges and use empathy to shape proactive improvements to strengthen data quality
  • Proactively analyze reports, data metrics results and inconsistency trackers to identify recurring and most impacting data issues
  • Conduct deep investigation of how data was fed into the system by understanding the designed process, by looking at system transaction history records and by talking to users, to identify root cause of such issues
  • Partner with HR IT team, process owner and other stakeholders to define and implement process and system changes to address the root causes

Data literacy and data quality subject matter expert and champion:

  • Communicate, train, and advise HR teams on the meaning, use and implications of data within HR processes and systems
  • Support Business HR with reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions regarding system interdependencies, data requirements, and lead times, particularly for medium to large scale changes across geographies
  • Support Business HR with building the relevant data/people hierarchies in the HR system

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities:

  • Knowledge on HR Operations systems and processes and demonstrable experience in HR process and system solutions design
  • Experience in translating business needs into process and technology requirements
  • Experience in managing HR data for mid to large organizations, been responsible to validate HR data quality and integrity and advise HR on data maintenance
  • Experience in supporting HR data changes for reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a holistic view across data, technology, processes, and teams
  • Experience building relationships with peers and senior stakeholders, collaborating, building consensus, and working with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and cultures
  • Experience in project management and change management
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point
