Formulation Laborant

We are looking for a Formulation Laborant to work in the Product Technology & Engineering department at Syngenta in Münchwilen (AG).

Accountabilities

• Carrying out standard laboratory formulation work. Carries out complex laboratory work under supervision and with the appropriate equipment
• Independent planning of experiments
• Oversees tests and devices based on defined guidelines
• First interpretation of data
• Performing independent experimental work programmes. Non-standard work can only be carried out under supervision.
• Documentation of experiments and test results for the subsequent evaluation by the line manager
• Responsible for safety, cleanliness, functionality, and use of work-relevant equipment and their environment
• Responsibility for a room or a piece of equipment (Milizaufgabe)

• Vocational training (qualification as a chemical laboratory technician or similar, preferably in the field of galenics, eg Labroant Fachrichtung Galenik mit EFZ)
• German: preferably level B2
• English: preferably level B2
• Use of Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Knowledge of LIMS and ELN is an advantage
• Familiarity with a laboratory environment
