Role purpose

Fleet lead provides Strategical & operational leadership for Syngenta’s vision and goals for the whole area of fleet and Driving safety. The role covers all Syngenta Fleet Operations and a wide range of responsibilities related to fleet management, driving safety, budget management, capital expenditures, compliance, data management, reporting and HSE.

Responsibilities

• Leads the implementation of the company fleet & safe driving strategy under operational excellence umbrella with the HSE, Indirect Procurement Buyers, Finance, key stakeholders and Fleet partners.
• Make sure all vehicles provided to the commercial force and executives are according with the Syngenta Car Policy and HSE guidelines.
• Manage all services related to the vehicle fleet to ensure its efficient, reliable and safe operation.
• In a collaborative manner with all used fleet suppliers (fuel, tags, etc.), the Fleet Leader will continuously identify improvements to the service provided and areas where savings could be made without reducing fleet safety or service quality.

It is indispensable for this position:

• Professionals from Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Transport, or similar careers.
• At least 3 years of experience in fleet management, external supplier management, process improvement or similar positions (mandatory).
• Experience in telemetric platform management and reporting.
• Experience in Road Safety Management oriented to prevention and systemic approach.
• Management of budgets and forecasts.
• Experience with SAP.
• Office and Excel (mandatory). SharePoint and Power BI (desirable)
• Fluent English and Spanish (mandatory)
• Assertive communication, Proactivity, and agility response.
• Energy, Drive and Persistence.
• Influencing and negotiation skills.
• Analytical skills, critical thinking, team lead.
• Focus on compliance and procedures.
