  • Assist the Area Field Manager in the whole seed production operations.
  • Plan, organize and effectively supervise the seed field operations thru Field Team Leads.
  • Coordination with other department and peers to resolve any issues and concerns which relate to the teams plans and goals.
  • Conduct and implement field activity monitoring and supervision in day-to-day activities of the operation.
  • Manage and effectively supervise the implementation of the package of technology (POT) by each Team Lead.
  • Submission of field production reports/ updates weekly and monthly.
  • Record and document all seed field observations and activities.
  • Address field production complains and find solution.
  • Plan and control all company resources (time, equipment and financial).
  • Always uphold company integrity.
  • Seek to find ways and solution in performing day to day job for continuous improvement.
  • Adhere and embrace Health Safety and Environment programs (HSE) and strictly implement in the workplace.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure deliver the committed volume of seeds timely and accurately without compromising the quality.
  • Assure seed quality is maintained during seed field operation and reliability of finish goods on time.
  • Ensure to deliver the harvested corn seeds on time to avoid complain from customer (internal and external).
  • Ensure to produce and deliver the corn seeds at cost efficient and within budget.
  • Effectively manage and supervise day to day seed field operation activities thru Package of Technology (POT).
  • Accurately submit on time report/ updates with relevant or quality information.
  • In all processes of the operation, ensure transparency, that quality and safety is never compromised.
  • Ensure to report all Health Safety and Environment (HSE) related incidents in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and related courses.
  • Have trainings, seminars and workshop related to production, processing, and seed quality control.
  • Have technical and adequate experience in seed production and quality.
  • Have technical knowledge in trouble shooting when it comes to production.
  • People management and coaching ability.
  • Four years’ experience in seed production work.
  • Leadership, adequate supervisory and coordination skills.
  • Broad minded and can easily adopt change.
  • People and process manager.
  • Have skills in planning for long term program.
  • Technical and process supervision.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good skills to deal with variety of people.
  • Can handle top to bottom pressure - management, peers, workers, and farmers.
  • Good and adequate leadership skill.
  • Can easily blend and adopt change for development.
  • Good communicator (written and oral).
  • Goes out of his way in seeking and finding solutions to issues and concerns.
  • Have sense of ownership in the job.
  • Able to hit the targeted Key Performance Indicator that align company's goal.
  • Have good and adequate leadership skills and capability.
  • Provide support in training, coaching, and process.
  • Manage and calculate risk.
  • Mobile enough to travel when necessary - outside of base, other parts of the country where business/ operation are required.
  • With drivers’ licence. Know how to drive car and motorbikes.
