We are hiring for several roles and looking to recruit a diverse team with a broad background. Do you possess some of the following skills?  

  • Knowledge of process or energy engineering and experience in a chemical development or production environment, areas of focus include energy management, thermal energy technology, waste treatment, recycling, and wastewater treatment  
  • Understanding of environmental impact and sustainability assessment concepts (e.g., LCA), ideally knowledge of reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, Environmental Product Footprints, ISO) and environmental regulations  
  • Experience of a complex Sourcing and/or Supply Chain Operations environment  
  • Analytical thinking and understanding of statistics and data management, ideally with a working knowledge of analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Python, Excel VBA   
  • Ability to transfer concepts, iteratively develop innovative solutions and distill out what is important in different contexts to deliver valuable conclusions 

In this role, you will support the establishment of a forward-looking and industry-leading system to “measure” the environmental footprint along the supply chain of our business. Your work will focus on enabling the integration of environmental footprint data into decision making and support the transition towards environmental sustainability. 


Qualifications

Ideally, you bring experience in embedding LCA methodologies into the standard ways of working of a research-driven company e.g., building automated climate impact accounting systems, assessing product carbon footprints, and providing support to decision-makers not yet familiar with sustainability concepts. You enjoy digging into data and bring an understanding of engineering concepts and natural sciences. Ideally, you have experience of working as or alongside chemists & chemical engineers doing late stage- development into manufacturing. You enjoy taking an active role in shaping our future ways of working and bring a hands-on and can-do approach to any task. You are a team player, comfortable working in matrix organizations, and are good at sharing concepts and content in a tailored way that enables and empowers a wide array of stakeholders to make informed strategic, tactical and operational choices.
