Proactivley Manage the day-to-day execution of the area maintenance activities.

Balancing a common pool of technicians to deliver the planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across all areas, to ensure they are delivered in a ‘safe’, efficient and effective manner. Other duties include;

  • Line management of Engineering Technicians.
  • Resource planning & scheduling of Technicians & 3rd party contractors across the area.
  • Creation and execution of rolling work plan / schedule in line with the workflow process, cost center budgets, spares availability & minimizing impact of plant availability. Manage KPI’s & measures for area.
  • Supports manufacturing center outage plans with regards electrical handshaking.
  • First point of contact for EDO in respect of project work within area.
  • Identification & delivery of safe systems of work across the area including but not limited to electrical safe systems of work.
  • Originator and owners of appropriate level of change including MOC process.
  • Independent delivery of appropriate RCA techniques to assist in the continuous improvement of assets.
  • Cover across the electrical team.
  • Jeopardy management from departmental T2 meetings.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable electrical engineering background.
  • Knowledge & understanding of CMMS systems including planning & scheduling systems.
  • Ideally, some supervisory experience.
  • Electrical maintenance planning experience (desirable).
  • Experience in chemical plant / process operations (desirable).
