This role owns the technical integration and deployment of IT operations and change delivery across IT infrastructure domains, workplace technologies, networks, cyber security, cloud & compute and end user services for the EAME region. It requires close collaboration with global IT infrastructure domain leads and their teams as well as the orchestration of EAME focused domain experts and IT managers for a smooth delivery of services and change.

Accountabilities

  • Own the delivery of IT infrastructure operations and change for EAME
  • Orchestrate efforts between global IT infrastructure and regional resources to ensure high quality delivery
  • Manage change pipeline and own the regional infrastructure change roadmap
  • Plan resource requirement to different initiatives and projects
  • Support the development of people to build expertise in technology
  • Assess and propose team competency improvements/development
  • Collaborate with global infrastructure teams for handshake delivery of technology and services
  • Assess change impact and address it accordingly
  • Ensure smooth delivery and support of infrastructure operations
  • Deliver change projects in region
  • Quality review of designs to ensure smooth delivery of change
  • Gatekeeper for change implementation
  • Accountability for the end-to-end lifecycle of specific projects
  • Communicate transparently with team and stakeholders
  • Deputize Regional Lead of IT Infrastructure
  • Participate in the Major Incident Management process to provide leadership and management cover
  • Assisting in defining appropriate technology standards to use within the company’s existing architecture
  • As a member of the Regional IT Infrastructure leadership team help to provide strategic leadership to the overall organization alongside your peers

  • A proven track record of information technology leadership experience that includes implementing, managing, or governing large complex projects
  • Hands on experience in managing a diverse team in a matrix organization
  • Experience working in a challenging environment
  • Architectural experience across IT infrastructure spaces
  • Deep technical knowledge and understanding of impacts and dependencies
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, analytical and leadership skills
