Purpose:

  • The EAME CP portfolio is under transformation due to the increased focus on sustainability, regulatory policies, and consumer habit evolutions. Syngenta as a company is developing it’s portfolio in line with these changes through its Strategy that focuses on strengthening the core and shaping the future. A critical part of this transformation is to leverage the access of 3rd party products from both CP and Biologicals companies. Syngenta has established a cross-functional team, called the Partnership Portfolio Operations team (PPO), who is charged to drive the delivery of this initiative.

Accountabilities:

  • For the EAME region, leverage the current portfolio management in place to deliver right level of transparency and alignment between the different deals ongoing at global, regional and countries levels and the different functions involved.
  • Enable fit for use information sharing with key stakeholders and leadership meetings (3P MBO’s, DECO, ECPPT) on deals and implementation progresses and relevant escalations.
  • Together with the PPO team, turn data into insights and recommendations by monitoring relevant KPI’s and maximization the use of smartsheet technology.  
  • As a PMO, manage overall program, dependencies, resources, timelines, stakeholder management, risk management and interdependencies with other projects or initiatives.
  • As a Key Account manager, represent SYT facing external companies with aim to negotiate and conclude deals and then support NPI and operational delivery of intended business cases.

Qualifications

  • Strong Project and Program management expertise.
  • Ability to act internally and externally as an ambassador and create a customer of choice position that leads external companies to decide to partner with us.
  • With the relevant functions (incl. P&S, Legal, Biology, Regulatory,..) develop negotiation strategies to deliver intended business cases.
  • Good knowledge of the various functions within Syngenta and their respective roles to deliver 3rd Party deals (incl. CPD, P&S, Regulatory, CP marketing, etc.) as License in &out.
  • Data savvy, appetite to use and improve digital tools, develop reports for stakeholders and leadership updates, and for various governance bodies.
  • Team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, ease with stakeholder management.
  • Agility to balance Syngenta values of the ‘what’ (determined execution) and ‘how’ (how matters)
