Purpose: The Diversity and Inclusion Lead is accountable for developing, implementing, and managing Syngenta Group Diversity and Inclusion annual campaigns and Employee Resource groups strategy. This position would also drive part of the group strategy and programs, as well as being responsible for the day-to-day activities.

Accountabilities*

 

  • Lead and support the planning and implementation of the annual diversity and inclusion campaigns.
  • Design, plan, coordinate, prepare campaign related activities, external speakers, events, digital initiatives, etc.
  • Lead and provide comprehensive Group D&I project planning and follow up
  • Manage, promote, facilitate, and train the Global Mindset and Inclusive Environment Solutions
  • Design, maintain and keep up to date our digital platforms, including D&I SharePoint, D&I Community Learning Edge, ERG communities, Yammer, and LinkedIn Posts
  • Support in the design and execution of D&I new programs and initiatives
  • Collect, review, and understand the D&I Metrics and analytics
  • Prepare informational, training and toolkit decks to present D&I Initiatives to Group, BU and Regional leaders and teams
  • Build stronger networks that allow the connection between ERGs, D&I Champions, and POD Leads
  • Design, create, maintain, and update, onboarding material for the D&I area
  • Work hand in hand with the Group head to advance ongoing projects  
  • Participate with HR and Group projects that help us enhance our employees´ experience during the recruitment and performance management phases.  

Qualifications

  • Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Content Management System, Canvas and SoMe). Understanding of graphical or social media tools helpful. Fluent English.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  •  Ability to prioritize and to work efficiently and independently as well as be flexible.
  • Positive proactive disposition, ability to work under pressure and handle a changing and sometimes ambiguous environment. Ability to work effectively in a large corporation.
  • Project management skills
  • Understand D&I Analytics and interpretation
  • Knowledge of the agriculture / biotechnology markets desirable but not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (excel and power point)  and other design and video platforms
  • Ability to create dashboard if necessary  (Qlik Sense or Tableau? Optional)
