  • Lead our innovation agenda for digital, be the innovation advocate for digital technologies and integrations and data sciences based on field trial data for the EAME CPD organization
  • Drive the regional digital strategy and deliver simple, efficient, reliable and interconnected solutions
  • Leading the implementation of digital use cases regionally (including quality monitoring and trainings)
  • Lead change management activities in biological data analytics (at EAME level) 
  • Coordinate and manage digital initiatives within EAME CPD, be the core link to Global Digital colleagues and represent EAME in Global forums
  • Support and influence the product biology and field science teams in the digital transformation; guide the team on implementing new approaches to data-driven product evaluations 
  • Drive connectivity with local BU digital commercial stream
  • To increase digital awareness, engagement and trust from users 
  • Drive the regulatory acceptance of the “digital” data and build and incorporate our digital field trialing standards to both the inhouse and CRO operations
  • Establish tracking and evaluation of field trialing KPIs and metrics in the region
  • Be the focal point for global and countries: ensure new digital and data solutions are of the highest quality to support the development of successful grower product offers and new product introductions, working together with country/regional marketing, sales, and digital teams. 
  • In connection with Global Digital CP R&D, Global and Regional IT, and other Regional Digital Product Development Leads across the world, help define overarching digital and data science priorities and ensure delivery
  • Keep up to date on external innovations from companies/universities in the EAME region, and manage collaborations to enable Syngenta to remain on the forefront of implementing new approaches to digital field trialing, be able to evaluate these technology and data-use opportunities quickly and accurately

Qualifications

Knowledge and abilities

  • Proven track-record of high achievement in creating, managing, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to make scientific or business decisions, preferably in the context of biological or agricultural research and product development area
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging agricultural field research technologies which generate data and how to implement them at-scale
  • Solid understanding of complexities when implementing and communicating activities based on digital technology integrations and data sciences
  • Good knowledge of agribusiness and agronomy (farmer practices)
  • Good knowledge of existing CPD IS tools and systems
  • Experience as a technical leader in the fields of digital technology integration and data sciences
  • Broad understanding of digital tools and data analytics software.
  • Proven track-record of thought leadership and successfully influencing others
  • Proven track-record of delivering successful development projects in country/region/global role
  • Show autonomy, initiative, efficiency, problem solving
